7×7 The Geometry Of Elegance

The exhibition “7×7 – The Geometry of Elegance” brings together seven artists whose work has long been rooted in geometric principles. Each of them approaches the theme in a unique way, offering a distinctive interpretation of the relationship between geometry and elegance. The exhibition presents seven jewellery pieces from each artist. The title 7×7 carries not only a literal reference to the number of artists and artworks, but also a geometric concept. Two sevens form a square – a symbol of structure, balance, and creative freedom. Just as the four sides of a square can be combined in various ways, geometry itself offers room for personal expression. Moreover, the number seven holds symbolic meaning across many cultures, often representing abundance, perfection, or mystery. As part of the exhibition’s visual identity, seven original geometric patterns were created, inspired by the individual artistic approaches of the jewellery designers. These motifs were reflected in the installation at the Czech Centre gallery in Munich. The striking, minimalist monochrome of the printed materials further reinforced the curator’s overarching concept.
