dok.incubator 2018

The international workshop dok.incubator is intended for documentary filmmakers whose films are in the rough-cut stage. Consulting with experienced mentors (established directors, producers, etc.) helps the authors complete within six months their films and prepare them for distribution or screening at film festivals.

The visual identity of the 7th annual workshop in pink and blue is based on paper crafting. Paper models and origami, together with handwritten notes become a developing motif. It transforms in the various outputs of the visual identity as the films take on the final shape throughout the workshop. The finished projects then represent origami rockets taking off into the space of the film industry.
