dok.incubator 2019

The international workshop Dok.Incubator is intended for documentary filmmakers whose films are in the rough-cut stage. Consulting with experienced mentors (established directors, producers, etc.) helps the authors complete within six months their films and prepare them for distribution or screening at film festivals.

The visual identity of the 8th annual workshop is based on its motto which is 'Bake your film!’. It equates film with a cake and the diverse output of the visual identity shows a creative process: preparing raw material, processing it into a pastry, then baking and finally decorating. Different sorts of shown cakes and the choice of intense colors point to a great variety of films. All pieces of cake then make the whole of the workshop, which is served at the collective premiere at the Nordisk Panorama Festival in Malmö.
