Give me your hand

45 years, 45 rings, 15 artists. The exhibition (annually organized by the Czech Center in Munich) focuses on contemporary Czech jewelry. In 2018, display‘s curators selected 45 rings created over the past half century in the studios of leading Czech jewelers as well as other fine artists. The ring then became the central motif of the display‘s visual identity. Circle or arcs complement the text with an optical effect and they also complement the typography, which occupies a strong position in the visual identity. To the display’s topic refers the circular perforation of printed material, which can be put on a finger just like a ring.
