Handbook – Charity of the Czech Republic

The European Young Caritas project, which Charity of the Czech Republic joined in January 2020, involves young people in charitable activities, motivates them to volunteer in the health and social fields and spreads awareness throughout society. Under the motto "Create Future", it transmits the values of empathy, solidarity and responsibility for the quality of the social climate and the environment. The bulky yet practical handbook was created as a promotional item donated at school educational events. It is filled with unlined double-sided printed sheets presenting sustainable development goals in the form of playful collages of texts, fun facts and informative graphics, accompanied by illustrations. While the cover of the handbook is spare, its information sections are visually dense and varied. Each of the sheets is made in a different colour and the same colour is also applied to the joints of the sheets that follow, so that a colour gradient is formed on the inner edge of the pages. A subtle rainbow can be seen on the edge of the handbook. The Handbook was created in cooperation with Reformat Bookbinders.
