Summer in the Park

The Summer in the Park festival represents a series of evening concerts in the multifunctional grounds of Park 360 in Hradec Kralové. The event, which took place in the summer of 2021, featured bands across many genres (Horkýže Slíže, Tata Bojs, Jelen, Mňága a Žďorp, etc.).

The unified visual style references a few basic elements of the festival - summer, water, a relaxed atmosphere, a place to meet friends, dancing and music. The dominant element becomes the basic elementary shape - a circle, referencing the sun, which also formed the actual logotype of the festival itself. The circle is further organically modified and deformed into irregular shapes which can be used to create different compositions for the required materials. The resulting shapes are reminiscent of rippling water, a stream of hot air, a dance or an imaginary flowing musical curve, which intersect throughout the visual style and are possibly complemented by photographs of the performing musicians in black and white.
