This collective exhibition at the Bold Gallery in Prague presented eleven, less-well-established, mostly young artists working in various media, coming from different universities. The unifying element of their work is the eponymous title of the exhibition - The Trip. When hearing the word “trip”, we can imagine childhood longings for excursions, walks or expeditions, or perhaps memories from our travels? The exhibition also maps the impact of the trip on the environment and how the landscape is changing, etc. Within the exhibition, a small guerrilla event was created on the basis of a graphic element of the unified visual identity - black and white tourist signs navigating people to the gallery appeared on the streets of Prague and mostly in the vicinity of the gallery in the Holešovice district of Prague for several days before the opening and throughout the exhibition. The combination of black and white is unique within the framework of the colour scheme used for the signs of the Czech Tourist Club. The sign was also a distinctive symbol applied by hand on the accompanying printed materials and the layout was strongly inspired by tourist signs around the Czech Republic. In collaboration with the Reformát brand, an original travel diary was created for the exhibition as merchandising for people to create a personal record of future trips.
